YES. Independence Home Care can remind clients to take medication; however, our caregivers do not administer any medication.
- Do I need to sign a contract with Independence Home Care?

YES. Independence Home Care will clearly outline your selected services and the terms of the agreement between you the client and Independence Home Care. The agreement serves both parties to ensure a thorough understanding of the services that will be provided. However, clients may cancel the contract at any time.
- Am I locked into my service contract with Independence Home Care?

NO. Independence Home Care requires no long-term commitment for our services; however, cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance of a scheduled visit to avoid a cancellation fee. Independence Home Care reserves the right to charge for a scheduled visit if insufficient notice is not given.
- Do I have the option to change caregivers?

YES. Independence Home Care strives to maintain excellent customer satisfaction. Our goal is to provide you with a well matched caregiver from the outset. Should you wish to change caregivers, we encourage you to contact our office right away.
- What if I need to make changes to my service?

At Independence Home Care we understand that client’s needs change over time. Our service offerings are flexible, and we can adjust care schedules on short notice. We require cancellation/change notification within 24 hours of a scheduled visit.
- How quickly can Independence Home Care provide service?

Independence Home Care can generally provide service within 48 hours. If immediate care is desired please contact our office and we will make every effort to accommodate your request.
- How many hours am I committed to?

Independence Home Care typically requires a four hour minimum per visit, although exceptions can and will be made.
- Do you schedule the same caregiver for each visit?

YES. Independence Home Care matches clients to caregivers who best fit their needs. Our goal is to develop a strong, ongoing relationship between our caregivers and clients.

No. Since all caregivers are employees of Independence Home Care, you are not required to pay the caregiver directly. Our office will bill you for services rendered biweekly.
